High Teas in the Cocktail Bar
In the early 1800’s, Anna, 7th Duchess of Bedford is said to be the founder of afternoon tea, to ward off hunger pains between lunch and dinner. It became a regular occurrence and she would invite other high society ladies to join her. These habits soon became a good reason for social gatherings and started a trend that is still popular today.
At Emporium Hotel we have a passion for the Exquisite and our ranges of High Teas are exactly that. From girl gatherings, hens nights, social afternoons, birthday’s for ladies of all ages and fine gentlemen too, enjoy the company of good friends over this wonderful British tradition.
High Tea seatings available between 12noon to 3pm. Pre-bookings essential and 48hours notice required for catering purposes.

Royal High Tea $55pp
Glass of Mumm Champagne on arrival, Petit Fours, Scones, Ribbon Sandwiches and a selection of ‘Twining’s’ teas.
Hendricks High Tea $65pp (Image featured)
Hendrick’s is an iconoclastically produced small batch gin distilled in Ayrshire, Scotland. The unusual distillation process combined with the oddly delicious set of infusions yields a one-of-a-kind gin that is passionately loved by a tiny yet growing handful of individuals all over the world. Includes two Hendrick's cocktails (served in our unique tea cup martini glasses), Petit Fours, Scones, Ribbon Sandwiches and a selection of Twining's teas.
Our High Teas are available seven days between 12 noon - 3pm. Bookings required with 48hrs notice.
